As CEO and founder of FashInvest, LLC, David brings his in-depth experience as a venture capital investor who has worked directly with over 30 portfolio companies in his career helping them first obtain necessary funding and assisting them in their growth towards successful businesses. With a career spanning over 25 years, David’s has focused entirely on the entrepreneurial sector of the economy having started his career in the Enterprise Group of Arthur Andersen.

David remains very active in the venture capital community throughout the East Coast of the United States and is a regular speaker at several venture capital conferences including Funding Post, Womensphere, Astia and Bootstrapper Conferences. He also is the founder and regular annual host of Early Stage East, the premier early stage venture capital conference on the East Coast.

David is an investor in consumer-oriented companies through the funds he manages and as an individual. His passion is in consumer oriented companies where he has advised several fashion designers and technology executives in a host of business and growth company investment matters. He also is an Adjunct Professor of Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship at LIM College in New York City.
